I am trying to find out about the Volo Illinois Vigilantes.
All I know is five women held a "Rail Party" and ran a Mrs. A J Raymond out of town. One of those women was my 2 great grandmother Mrs Alma Walton.
I found an article in the Barrington paper dated Feb 5 1914 stating that they had to pay a 100.00 fine. I would like to know why they ran that women out of town.
I know I read it in the Libertyville paper when I was looking for an obit. But I did not know the names that was attached.
If anyone willing to help me I would really appericate it.
