Just adding my limited knowledge. There was also a mink farm on Stearns School Road, not far from Route 41 in Gurnee, IL. I don't know who owned it, except MAYBE it had something to do with the name SCHWAIGHART. It may be that SCHWAIGHART was associated with them because the farm was sold to them, or the SCHWAIGHART family was somehow related to the family that lived there.
