I was going to make a trip to the courthouse this week for some death certificates. On the phone with them last week, they said I needed to contact another office to get a copy of a will. I haven't done that yet, but will give them a call and let you know what they say if you like. That's an outrageous price and quite unfair. Personally, I think these public records shouldn't cost anything just to request a lookup to see if there is a will!!!
