Trying to help a friend trace her father's ancestry... Stuck at her grandpa Carl. Died in Newton, Iowa, but from Kendall Co. before that and buried here... I know about HIS life. What I really want to know is, who were his parents?? His death certif. says he was born in IL, parents August and Augusta Lifske(?) Wesley. I can't find ANYTHING on those parents -- not one census record, not one fact of any kind!... Anyone know anything about August and Augusta?
