My grandmother remembered spending a year with her sister in a "convent" when they were young children. I now assume they were in an orphanage, school, or other such institution run by nuns. I am trying to figure out where they were. This would have been in the early 1920s, possibly 1923. I am searching in Kane County because I know the family lived in Aurora at least in 1917-1924. Anyone have any suggestions? My grandmother's name was Katherine Cudding; her sister was Jane. Thanks.
