I am researching my great grandfather, Frank Mitchell, who appears in the 1920 census in Vienna, Johnson County, Illinois. He is living with A. J. Perkins and working as a cook at a hotel. A.J. Perkins or Andrew Jackson Perkins ran and owned a hotel started by his father in the late 19th century. I assume that Frank was working at the hotel which was run by A.J. Perkins.

I am trying to learn anything I can about Frank Mitchell during this time period. This includes when the hotel was sold by A.J. Perkins or at least changed hands. A.J. died in January of 1927, but it's possible that he sold the property before that time.

I would also like to know if there is a surname index for the Vienna Times for the period between 1915 and 1930. If there is an index, I would be able to do research for Frank Mitchell more easily.
