Hello everyone... I am looking for some information on George and Della Duncan. George was the son of Isaiah Clark Duncan and Frances Miranda Highfill. He first married Della Mae Allen. I have one child for them, being Marion Warren Allen. He married Margaret Hawkins.

I am looking for death dates for George and Della. I know that after Della died, George married Emma Gisy. She is buried at Scenic Hill and died in 1968.

Any information on George, Della, Marion Warren, his children, etc would be greatly appreciated.

Oh by the way, George's siblings were Dora Duncan Claridge and Addie Mae Duncan Legate. George did have step siblings from Isaiah's 2nd marriage to Ruth Flippo.

This is the information that I have:

George died on June 19, 1950
Della died on March 5 1904

You may have already found the answer.....They are both buried at the Scenic Hill Cemetery. George is buried with his second wife and Della with her parents.

I visited the cemetery three for four years ago but accidentally deleted the photos.

I do have original funeral cards for both of them (they were my great-grandparents and I inherited the family memorabilia including what was left of the photo album that Della started).

I have written to you off-list and forgot to mention that I would love the cemetery photos. I was so upset when I lost them as that was a long trip!!
