Surnames: Schaeffer, Weber, Huss, Geltz
My g-great grandmother, Margaret "Catherine" Schaeffer, was a great-aunt to four people at the time of her death. In her obituary they are listed as "Mrs. Paul Weber of Newton, Mrs. Albert Huss and Albert Geltz of Ste Mariee, and Mrs. Ed Ochs of Decatur." Catherine lived and was buried in St. Marie, Jasper County, IL. I have always known these surnames were related but never knew how. Anyone with any suggestions or help on these names would be greatly appreciated.

My Grandmother was Grace Marie
Weber, she was born in 1905.
Her Mother was MaryEllen Shelly
Weber born about 1870, her Dad
George Anthony "Tony" Weber.
He was born about 1855 in Haugen
eau, France, which is in the

Jasper County were from that region before coming to the USA and they were of the Catholic faith.
One of my GGrandmothers MaryEllen

a nephew of my Grandmothers??
Can you give me some years, maybe

Our great uncle was Albert Huss from Jasper County. His wife was Bertha Geltz. I can't connect the rest of the names for you, but can give lots of info on the Huss line. Albert's parents were Louis Huss and Magdalena Bolander

Jane, thanks for the info! It adds a little more to what I already had, which was pretty much just names and dates. If you need anything on the Huss or Bolander names, let me know and I'll see if I can help. Frank X Huss was our grandfather.
