Who were the parents of Dorinda Watkins/Wadkins, born ca. 1812 Tn., wife of George Watkins/Wadkins, born ca. 1805 Georgia. The family is shown in the 1850 Jackson Co. census and by 1860 census George is dead and wife Dorinda is head of household. When did Dorinda die? I believe that Dorinda remarried Squire Howell in 1862 Jackson Co., Ill. but can't locate either of them in 1870 census.
