I am seeking information on Beaulieu's who lived in Kankakee and Iroquis counties, Illinois from about 1832 to late 1800. I have found the name listed as Boyers (which I think is wrong) and Boyea. But church records indicate the above spelling.
Marcel Dandurand married Marie (Mary) Beaulieu (Boyea) in Bourbonais, Kankakee County. I have the marriage record, but it does not list her parents' names. I have written to the Catholic Church at Bourbonai (including a donation to the church) but received nothing back -- no letter, no nothing, but my check was cashed. Their daughter was my wife's grandmother. This family later moved to Lyon County, Minnesota. I have been trying to learn the parents of Marie. The Danduarnd line is well documented - both in the various "Genealogical dictionaries" (Tanguay and Jette) and other publication, but through original church records back to the first. But the Beaulieu line is lacking,
