I am looking for someone with a copy of the Book, Pioneers of the Praire by Wilma Brunenn.
I have heard that my gggrandfather Gilmore Callison is mentioned, or rather his Wagon Train is. It is called The Callison Party, or Train-it left in 1852 from Hancock Co.ILL
I cant seem to locate a copy. My people arrived in 1833, and Gilmore and his brother, Josiah, founded the Mt. Pleasant Church outside of Carthage. In their group were the McClures, Massies, Brownings, and Dawsons.
I have a photo (poor) of Gilmores house which is still standing and the Mt. Pleasant Church, recent photos of the inside.
Any info on the above will be appreciated
