Seeling info on Mary Elizabeth "Eliza" (maiden name unknown, 1860-1847, buried in Old Hickory Hill) who was married to W. H. HICKS (1850-1921, also buried in Old Hickory Hill). According to article in Hardin Co. paper, a widow named Eliza Hicks from the Broughton - Wapole area, married my gg grandfather, Allen E. Love (a widower) in Apr 1929 (supposedly in Hamilton Co.) and lived in Elizabethtown, Hardin Co., IL until his death in Sep 1932. They met while he was visiting an uncle (MCPHERSON) and she lived nearby. According to my g aunt, she moved back to Hamilton Co. after his death. According to 1930 census, this Eliza was also born in 1860. I would like to confirm this is the same Eliza and would love any info on her. I have a picture of her and LOTS of info on LOVE and MCPHERSON that I'm willing to share.

Married W H Hicks, in 1878, he died in 1921. 6 children: Amy Russell of Broughton; Ola Brown of Harrisburg; S G Hicks of Bono, AR; Dora Leirer of Poplar Bluff, MO; Herschel Hicks of McLeansboro & Sheridan Hicks of McLeansboro. Married Allen Love, 1929, he died in 1932. Has resided with daughter Ola Brown for past 6 years.
