I am looking for anyone who has information about Lavisa Trotter Simpson, wife of Alfred Simpson of Hamilton County, IL. She is my great, great grandmother and he fought in the Civil War. I'm trying to trace her parents. Thanks!

I have Louisa H. Trotter born 1842, married Alfred Simpson,
4/10/1864 in Hamilton County and had the following
children--Sherman, Isom, Nancy, William and Mary.

Louisa was the daughter of Isham Trotter and Nancy J.
Warfield--they were married 3/30/1837 in Hamilton Co.,
ILL.

I saw your posts regarding Trotter/Simpson families...my husband is the Grandson of Alfred W. Simpson married to Margaret Lavisa Halley. Alfred's parents were John Simpson and Sarah Trotter. I would love to have any information that you might be willing to share regarding these families.
