Greene County Illinois also has the following: Tri County Preservation Society (www.triconews.com/; libraries in White Hall; Greenfield (217-368-2613), and Carrollton (217-942-6715. Each of these have a genealogy area.

Greene County Courthouse ( 217-942-3421)is in Carrollton, IL. They have a small area for genealogy work. They also have the Records of most everything right there to help you. Marty Crull

part of my family lived there for about 75 years. There is a wonderful resource available on line for FREE. some 800 pages of facts you can explore. Tons of MILLERS, but only one OLIVER. Take a look at 800 pages of history. ROODHOUSE included.
