I am wondering if anyone could look for a marriage between Woodson Perdue and Ella Belle Dillard. My problem is this: Ella Belle Noble married Edward Dillard and she appears in the 1900 and 1910 Census in his home with their two daughters, Mabel and Sarah Chloe Dillard.
However, sha also appears in the 1910 Census with Woods Perdue, as his wife. The 1910 Census states that her and Mr. Dillard have been married 14 years and she is the mother of 7 children, 2 living. It then states she has been married to Mr. Perdue for either 9 or 7 years (handwriting hard to decipher) and she is the mother of 5 children, all living. (He had 3 at home and then you add her two so maybe that is where 5 comes from) I know Mr. Dillard died in 1916, but I don't know when Mr. Perdue's first wife (Sarah Jane Andrus or Andrews) died.
I am starting to wonder if perhaps this isn't the same woman......
