i decided to post here because i'm basically at my wit's end. my g-g-grandmother was named Ida Mae...she died when i was a child...she was b. 6 Apr 1886 and d. June 1983 in West Frankfort, Franklin County, Illinois...a long life to say the least.... I've been told she was a full-blooded Native American, regardless of the truth of that claim, however, I know that she married a man who's last name was BOOZER (my g-g-grandfather)...unfortunately, I don't know his first name, no one seems to, apparently she outlived him by a long-shot, so-to-speak.

I know of two children (both daughters) one, Eva Boozer, was b. 27 May 1906, and the other, Gladys Boozer, was a preacher with the Salvation Army, apparently one of the first women to do such in West Frankfort, Franklin County, Illinois; I've been told she never married or at least had no children.

Eva Boozer was my g-grandmother, she married George Herbert Dossett b. 31 Dec 1904, d. 8 Jun 1956; aside from George and Eva's children I know little else about these BOOZERs...I have vivid memories of visiting my frail g-g-grandmother...and i'd like to make some progress along these lines if possible, any help would be greatly appreciated.

thank you,
