The records I have on Elizabeth Hinton, daughter of Lewis Hinton, married Allen Taylor Smart and remained with him to death. Lewis' brother, William Hinton (married to Elizabeth Johnson) also had a daughter Elizabeth, who married a James Harrison. (I am the 3rd great grandson of William Hinton and am following his line, which concentrates in Fayette and Montgomery counties). William and Lewis' parents were Hardy and Mychel Hinton of Fayette County who are buried at Harris Cemetary.

I do not know of another Elizabeth who would be in the right age group to marry in 1857. If you have more information, it might help focus on her/them. There are several researching these lines.
