Hi!

Does anyone out there have any info on the family of Nicholas SAUM, who purchased land in DeKalb Co. by 1 July 1845? Apparently he and his wife Keziah RUSSELL married 21 Feb 1833 in Warren Co., IN, then came to IL in the 1840's. The 1850 Census reportedly shows a daughter Sarah.

It is she I'm actually interested in, for I'm trying to establish her birthdate if possible, and/or if she is the same Sarah Saum that married John THOMPSON in Scott Co., IL on 16 Sep 1858. I believe it is her, but cannot figure out how she got to Scott Co.

Can anyone help?
