Was Janesville in Cumberland Co. in 1908 or Coles Co? My Great Grandmother, Alice (Foote) Clark died in Janesville in 1908 and I thought that was Cumberland Co. but when I wrote to Cumberland Co. Clerk for a death certificate with all the info. and fees, I received back a reply that they did not have the record on file there.
