I am researching my family in the UKK. and found that my great great great grandmother, Sarah Richardson was born October 26, 1809 in Whitehaven, Cumberland, Ilinois. She later married George Hodgson from England and they lived and brought up their family in England.
I am trying to trace back to Sarah parents Thomas Richardson and Rose ?. I would imagine Thomas would be born around 1780 +/-.
This has come as a surprise to me as all my family on both sides comes from either Yorkshire or Lincolnshire in England so this new thread is very exciting.
Can anyone help?
