My father's name was John Edward Duesing, one of eight children born to Johan William and Mary Wunsch Duesing of Cleveland, WI. My granfather was born in 1837, fought in the 26th Wisconsin infanty of the Civil War. I do not know where he was born. I know that he was an early settler of Cleveland in Manitowoc County, WI. Can anyone give me more information on this Duesing family? Is there any relationship to the Cumberland County Duesing

I believe we have a common ancestor.

This is the Bertha Oakley I have.

Bertha Oakley born 9/30/1881 died 8/20/1964 in Toledo, IL she was the daughter of Francis Marion Oakley and Nancy ane Janes. Bertha was 1 of 11 children born to this union.

Bertha married Clarence White in 1900. Clarence was born 11/27/1877 and died 12/25/1964 in Toledo, IL. Born to this union was 5 children.

If this looks like it is your Bertha I would enjoy sharing information. I have aprox 1,200 names in our Oakley line dating back to 1738 in Virginia.

You can contact me directly at robnstac@monticello.net.
