Greetings!

I am at a total loss and ready to scream because I keep running up against brick walls. Finally, I received the application for a social security account number for my father - Daniel M Buongiorno. Born 03/23/1924. This I have always been told, as well as his father being Frank Buongiorno. It even lists his address at the time (7/29/1941) at 2930 W. Congress, Chicago, Ill. However, there has always been this mystery around the family history and no one would ever talk about it. my father has died and I have been searching and now I get this document stating his mother is Marie Verglig (may be Vergliq) and I have always been told his mother was Ida Jarmey.

Is there any way you can help me? It does list my fathers place of birth as Chicago, Cook, IL.
