I am requesting a newspaper obit/death notice lookup in Forest Park, Cook, IL for a Roger Charles Miller. I posted a request on Facebooks RAOGK and someone posted that there is one for Roger dated 1 Dec 1971 page 4....record 594666. I went to Newspaper.com but there is a cost to join so hoping someone with access to Newspapers could look Roger up for me. I am hoping his obit/death notice will tell where he is buried. Not finding him on FAG in IL or Michigan where he was born. Hope someone can help. Thank you.

I just received an email from the coroner's office in Cook County telling me that the records from 1971 are a part of the old coroner's system and are located offsite. We need a letter in writing with your request. We also need a copy of the death certificate. The search can take months. Where can I order a death cert from 1971 in Cook County? Thank you.
