Joseph Grieve's WWI Registration??

No, as far as I know I am not related to the Grieves.

Looks to me based on the info in their obits that Margaret was the only child they had. I'm sure if there were others they would have been mentioned in the obits.

Just a suggestion and perhaps a longshot, but have you checked to see if Joseph registered for the WWI draft? If so, those records are great and provide a goldmine of information.
If I was to make a guess based on his date of marriage I would say that if he did register in would have been in the third registration held on Sept 12, 1918. That group would have included all men born between 1873-1886 (up to 45 years of age). These records are pretty complete and, if memory serves, upwards of 95% of the eligible men complied.

I personally don't have access to these records, but I know that there are several kind souls who frequent this board who do. If you can't get it on the message board, they can be obtained though other sources including the government itself.
