Several parties in the country shipped hogs yesterday.
At the Ball Monday night a cup was given to the best lady and gentleman waltzer. Miss Minnie Simington and Henry Simpson took the prize.
Lewis J. Scherf of Wilmot, Wis., is visiting his brother here.
L. C. Rousseau is farming the land opposite town on the other side of the river. The land belongs to A. T. Purviance.
Every body is cleaning up their yards.
The Jack Frost went up the river yesterday morning with empty barges and returned in the evening with loaded ones.
D. L. Travis of Henry was in town yesterday.
Sanderlin & Co. drove in the pile for H. L. White & Co.¹s runway yesterday afternoon.
Say!! What is the matter with fixing up the park a little this Spring?
Married. Tuesday evening April 12th, at the residence of John Davidson of Magnolia Township by Rev. M. M. McCreight; Miss Annie M. only daughter of Robert Lancaster to Mr. L. C. Cummins of Riverside, Cala. Presents were numerous and costly. The happy couple leave today for Riverside Cala. their future home.
