Couldn't find John, but here is an obit for Minnie as it appeared in the Chicago Tribune on 2 March 1943:

Minnie Schneider, 1115 Thatcher avenue, River Forest, beloved wife of the late John, fond mother of Elsie, Arthur, Margaret, Oscar, Dorothy, Betty, Edward, Frank, John, and Paul. Resting at funeral home, 203 S. Marion street, Oak Park. Services Thursday, March 4, at 1:30 p.m. Interment Elm Lawn.
