Hello Bente-
Your Andrew Nelson and his aunt, Hanna, lived in Chicago's ENGLEWOOD neighboorhood about three blocks from each other.
Beginning c. 1890 and continuing for several decades, the Englewood neighborhood was comprised mainly of Swedish, German & Irish workers many of who were employed at the Union Stockyards (slaughterhouses, meat packing plants, etc.) located just to the north of the them. Other immigrants in Englewood were skilled tradesmen (carpenters, masons, etc.) who settled here as Englewood was experiencing a construction surge during this period.
Today Englewood is perhaps the poorest community/neighborhood in Chicago. It's population is composed almost entirely of African-Americans.
Might I suggest that you type "Englewood Chicago", "Englewood neighborhood Chicago" or similiar search terms into a search engine. I am certain you will find plenty of information on the area of Chicago you are interested in.
I am including a link to an article addressing the Swedish immigrants in the City of Chicago that you might enjoy reading. You will note that the article does make mention of the Englewood neighborhood that many Swedes, including your relatives, made their home.
