I am not a relation to this family, but here is some info I found about them.
Noah Linthicum was born circa 1873 in Ohio and died 7/24/1896 in Coles Co., Ill. Sometime during that period he moved from Ohio to Ill. He apparently married Fannie fern Shough circa 1893 in Dayton, Ohio.. They had 2 children: They were Ida Marie , who was born 6/1894 in Coles Co. Goldie (1896 in Coles Co.
On the 1900 census Fannie and the two girls lived in Hardin Co., Ohio . About 1902 , while in Hardin Co., Fannie married Charles Boukal There were 3 children with them: Ida marie, goldie, and Pearl B. (b. 1901). Who was Pearls father? Possibly Mr. Boukal. Pearl was listed as a step daughter to Mr. Boukal.
Regarding Edward C. Linthicum (maybe he was a cousin of Noah) his father was George Linthicum, born 1842 in Va. and his mother was Sarah Heavner, born 1843 in Va. They married ca 1869 in Va. Their children were: William (b. 1866 in Va.), Susan (1867 in Va. ), Eddie C. (10/1869 in Logan Co., Ohio). Father George was missing on the 1880 census, but in 1900 he was in Logan Co., Ohio.. Wife sarah had died because in 1885 George married Angeline (maiden name ??)
On the 1880 census of Logan Co., Eddie and his sister Susan were living with their Heavner grandparents. (Incidently, Georges parents were born in Scotland and Ireland).
Apparently Eddie moved to Coles Co., Ill. circa 1890 and in 1891 married 'Minnie". She was born 1868 in Ill. It appears they only had one child, son Claude born 1892.
On the 1920 census were Eddie, Minnie and grand daughrer Mildred (b. 1913).
I hope this will give you some ideas on Noah and Eddie and their lives,. Bob Eddings
