My 3rd Great-Grandfather was William Andrew Jackson Wade b. 1815 Adams Co. OH d. 19 Oct 1870 Mattoon. Coles Co. IL married abt 1835 (1st) Mary Stineman b.1820 d. 5 Feb 1855 Cooks' Mill, North Okaw Twp. Coles Co. IL They had the following children: William T. B. Wade b. 1835, Harriett A. Wade b. 1842, Edmund Jefferson Wade b. 1843, Andrew Jackson Wade b. 1845, Mary Jane Wade b. 1847, Olivia Wade b. 1849.
After Mary died, William A. J. married on 29 Mar 1956 (2nd) Nancy Jane Bradley. I believe the following children may have been his second family: Charles Wade married 19 May 1881 Matilda Nees, William R. Wade married Mary E. Doty 14 Nov 1882, and George Wade married 21 Apr 1883 Rebecca Chancellor. I have no proof that these were his children, but I need to find out their birth dates. After Nancy died, William A. J. married on 4 Apr 1860 (3rd) Mary E. Higgins and they had one daughter Alice Wade b. 1861.
