Looking for information on William T Mitchell of Coles County c 1827-1891.Born in Indiana, moved to Illinois by 1850 or before. Married at least twice, second time to Nancy Jacobs in 1871.Also married to a Telitha( Seletha, or Rachael Shipley in 1844.

Would like to know if his first wife died, or they divorced before he married Nancy.Have exhausted the cyberillinois website for marriage and death records, Census records,and history books on line.
