I show Samuel and Hannah had a son, William B Henson,in English Jersey, Illinois , 1854, and then Samuel was killed in the Civil War around 1865. There is an application for his military pension listing Daniel Brown as her sponsor. She married Daniel and they had several kids together. I show in 1880 census, they worked as farm assistants for John and Sarah Henson(b1830 and 1834 respectively). It shows she is from Virginia and the Hensons from North Carolina.
