Does any one know the name of
Eva Bess Orrs' (b 1846) husband
Olive Branch Illinois,Alexander County,
She had 3 children William Isaac, Betty (Bettie), Mattie(my maternal grandmother)
I can only find her in census in 1920 and 1930 when I checked the 1920 census she was listed as male but checking the original paper it is female so they have her as ESA or EVA, in 1917 she is listed as dependent of son
Wm Orr as EVA BESS and that is what I was told was her name by my mother.
Wm and Bettie never married so they lived with their mother and we visited them when I was a child.
