Frank Henry Finck Sr., 82, of Lincoln Hill Nursing Home, formerly of 527 Broadway, died Monday (Nov. 22, 1976) at 1:50 p.m. in Blessing Hospital, where he had been a patient since Oct. 26.
Mr. Finck was born May 20, 1904, in Missouri. He was a pilot in World War I and a member of American Legion Post 37. He married Margaret Hopkins in 1924. She died Nov. 10, 1933. He was employed as a foreman for Peerless Pump Co., until his retirement, and then worked part time as a bartender.
Surviving are a son, Frank Jr., of Markham; four daughters, Mrs. Ora (Dorothy) Pflum of Rock Island, Mrs. Herbert (Janice) Echternkamp of Payson, Mrs. William (Clara) Kloche of LaBelle, Mo., and Mrs. Ruth Smith of Jacksonville, several brothers and sisters; 18 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. in Zehender - Robinson - Stormer Funeral Home. The Rev. William S. Warford will officiate. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery.
