Am looking for someone who knows a little about the history of Idaho. My dad was born in a town call Mace or Burk which hasn't existed in years. I believe it was located in the mountains around Wallace or Kellogg or I may be way off. My dad's name was Oscar Fike. I know when he was younger he spent time around Payette and probably alot of other places. I did different things but I recall him telling me he was a baker. He was born in 1907, and his mother died when he was about five. His dad put him and his sisters, Hazel, Opal and Pearl in an Orphanage where he was farmed out to do labor. One man really wanted to adopt him but they wouldn't let him as he was single.
