John Barber was a great uncle to my father in law and lived in the Duck Valley Reservation until his death about four to five years ago. I had an opportunity to talk to him only one time about a month before his passing around Nov of 2002.

Did anybody out there know him. I found out he had been cared for by nieces on his wife side. He was very happy to know that his family in Texas thought of him. Although we never met uncle John, my family has always held strong to my husbands native american ancestry and is pround to be of such. We would like to know how he lives his life and is anybody knew his family mainly his wife or his sister, Josefine Barber
