I am searching for the descendants of James Walker Howard and Florence B. Shull Howard and of Joseph Campbell Madron and Tempy Ann Howard Madron. Both families left Missouri and ended up in Twin Falls County Idaho.

In 1930 the James, Florence and children were living in Twin Falls, Twin Falls Co., ID.
James W., b. MO, 45 yrs old, marr @ 22, general farmer.
Florence, b. MO, 40, marr @ 17.
Richard, b. MO, 22, single.
Lucile, b. MO, 18, single.
Mary Ellen, b. KS, 5.

A Richard P. Howard, b. 29 July 1907, Last Residence=Twin Falls, Twin Falls Co., ID 83301 died 11 April 2000. His soc. sec. # was assigned in ID 1951-52. Source: Social Security Death Index, www.ancestry.com.

Tempie Ann Howard Madron's family was HUGE. She was b. 1875, Rockport, Atchison Co., MO. She first married James William Madron Sept. 8, 1892 in Dale, Atchison Co., MO. She had 10 children with him.

Then she married Joseph Campbell Madron Feb. 28, 1907 in Tarkio, Atchison Co., MO. She had 7 children with him.

First child was Herman Franklin Madron. Herman and family in 1930 was living in Rock Creek, Washington Co., CO.

Della M., wife, b. IA, 28, marr @ 23, Herman's 2nd wife.
Denzil L., b. CO, 2 10/12ths.
Deloris L., b. CO, 3/12ths.

Lucile A., dau, b. CO, 12.
Elijah H. Ireland, brotherlaw, b. NE, 42, single, farm laborer.
Irene Campbell, boarder, b. NE, 19. (school teacher)

Twin Falls PHOTO Richard "Dick" P. Howard Richard "Dick" P. Howard , 92, of Twin Falls, died Tuesday, April 11, 2000, at the Twin Falls Care Center. Dick was born in Skidmore, Missouri, on July 29, 1907, the son of James Walker and Florence Shull Howard . He grew up around Beloit and Glasgo, Kansas, attending one room schools. Upon graduation from high school in Glasgo, he taught school in an one-room schools, and eventually attended Marysville Teacher's College in Marysville, Missouri. In 1929, the family moved to Idaho, settling in the Kimberly-Hansen area, where they farmed. His father purchased the Allis Chalmers Farm Machinery dealership in Twin Falls during the early forties, where they both worked until his father's death in 1954. The business was sold in 1956, and Dick went to work for the Amalgamated Sugar Company, until his retirement in 1972. Dick and Ina then bought the Avant Apartments and renamed them the Howard Apartments, by which they are known to this day. Dick was a lifetime charter member of the Elks Lodge #1183 in Twin Falls, and also a member of the Twin Falls Masonic Lodge #45 AF & AM. He was a member of the Magic Valley Flying Club and the Civil Air Patrol, where he flew search and rescue missions in World War II. Dick married Ina Sierer, the daughter of Idaho Pioneers, in 1940. In 1946, they adopted two sisters, Alyce and Roxie Wood. Dick is survived by one daughter, Alyce Manns of Twin Falls; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Lucille Kelly of Klamath Falls, Oregon, and Mary Ellen Wes Pettigrew of Colorado Springs, Colorado; one cousin, Jim Busby of Twin Falls; and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 15, 2000, at Sunset Memorial Park. At Dick's request there will be no public visitation. Services are under the direction of Reynolds Funeral Chapel in Twin Falls. In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorial contributions be give to your favorite charity. Contributions may be given to funeral chapel staff, or mailed to Reynolds Funeral Chapel, P.O. Box 1142, Twin Falls, ID 83303.

Thank you so much. I have a photo of James Walker Howard I would love to shae with them. I cannot get through to Lucille. I left message at May Ellen's #. So excited!
