Budge and Allen Family Histories in Rockland, ID

I am looking for any family history information about the Budge and Allen families in Rockland, Idaho. Thomas Scott Budge and his wife (second wife) Hulda came to Rockland sometime in the early 1890's. Thomas died in 1904 and Hulda in 1915. Both are buried in the Valley View Cemetery in Rockland. One of their sons, James Budge, married Mary Ann Allen, daughter of Charles Joshua Allen and Mariah Houston Lish. I am hoping to find more information about this family. James and Mary Ann were my husband's grandparents. We are coming through Rockland as a group of families headed for a family reunion in July. We would like to find any information we could before we get there so we will know what we are seeing when we do. Where did they homestead, ranch, or work? Are there any family members left who could tell us family stories?
I will greatly appreciate any and all replies to my query.
Judy Budge, Oregon
CIVIL WAR VET Thomas Walsh 1839 to 1900 WA

Thomas Walsh was born about 1839 and in 1861 joined the 6th NY Inf. Co. F in New York city age 22 he was discharged in 63 as Corpl. He served also in the LA Cavalry Co I organized at Tompkinsdville. His pension records show he was wounded at Pleasant Hill in 1864 noting he was shot in the left side. Later in 1890 Thomas was found in American Falls, Idaho and requested pension from his CW service. The pension said he was wounded at Wilson hill in Western LA and was shot in the left shoulder rendering his arm useless. By 1899 Thomas removed to Snohomish Co, Everett WA where he died 1/14/1900. I find no information that Thomas had any family either in Idaho or WA and would love to hear from anyone researching this surname in Idaho. We are working on a CW project for Snohomish Co. WA and he is buried at our Everett GAR site. Please contact me at KZWestre61@aol.com.

Two or more of my grandfather's brothers ended up in different parts of Idaho, American Falls for one. I'm looking for information on any Hesner family members in Idaho, or any other locations, who's "roots" may have originated in Loon Lake. The brothers I happen to know of were Alva P. and Vannie L., both of whom are buried in American Falls, ID, and Dewey Jay who died in Boise County, burial location uncertain. Would love to hear from anyone who has information on any of the brothers or anyone downline. Thanks.

I'm still looking for the origins of Michaud Flats, near the Snake River adjacent to the town of American Falls in southeastern Idaho (Power County). I believe Michaud Flats was named after a French scout for the Hudson Bay Company, who traded furs with the Indians in the area in the 1840's. This person may have been Michaud La Clair, but I haven't been able to confirm that... anyone have information on this topic?

Merci!

http://members.tripod.com/~Scott_Michaud/Michaud-history.htm...

Have little info to go on. I know he served in some branch of the Service and was killed after his return somewhere around late 1930's to early 1940's. He was shot in American Falls, and was in his 20's. At the time he was probably living with his Mother and Step Father- Ena and Frank Feltch of Rockland. Would like to know more about this Great Uncle of mine.
