Louis Edward Rayno, 78, died May 16 at the Power County Hospital following an extended illness.
He was born May 14, 1902 in New Hampshire to Frank and Mary LeClair Rayno. He received his schooling in New Hampshire.
Following school he worked for a tobacco pipe manufacturer. In 1949 he moved to California where he worked for ITT as an assembler and remained with the company until his retirement in 1964. He married Jennie Frank on Oct. 22, 1926.
Rayno enjoyed fishing.
He was preceded in death by his wife, two sons, one brother and two sisters.
Survivors include: one daughter, Mary Schwarz of Hawaii; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Services were held at the Queen of Heaven Cemetery in LaPuente, Calif. at 11 a.m. Tuesday. Local arrangements were under the direction of Davis Mortuary.
