Carol Von Facer Allen
Carol Von Facer Allen, 84, returned to her Heavenly Father Sunday, March 5, 2017, at her daughter's home in Park City, UT.
She was born in Malad, Idaho, July 19, 1932 to Willard D. and Lucy Lavon Williams Facer. She was raised in Malad and graduated from Henager Business College and attended Weber State College. She married Glen Maurice Allen September 20, 1963 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She worked at KVOG radio and Hill Air Force Base.
She was active in the LDS church and served in the Primary and Young Women organizations and was a visiting teacher. In her younger years she enjoyed playing softball and basketball, golfing, bowling and fishing. She especially enjoyed watching BYU football, camping with her family, and trips to Hawaii.
Her family meant the world to her. She is survived by her husband Glen, and three daughters: Pam Robbins (Riverdale, UT), Sherrie and Jeff Hinrichs (Park City, UT), Jody and Glen Gerber (Toquerville, UT). Also surviving are her precious grandchildren: Braxton, Bryton, Makena (Geoff), Jessica, Bridger, Matthew, Cali, Jaron and Jacob, whom she will greatly miss. She is survived by one brother, Sherm. She was preceded in death by her mother, father, two sisters, and four brothers.
We will miss her beautiful smile and the love that she shared with everyone. We love her with all our hearts. The family would like to express their deepest appreciation to Applegate Hospice, and all doctors, nurses and aides for their professional and loving care.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 11th at 12 pm with a viewing prior from 10-11:30 am at the Roy 16th Ward, 4524 S 2525 W, Roy, UT. Interment at the Roy City Cemetery.
