Was there a Children's Home in Lewiston around 1924? Is there access to it's occupants? Phillip Elvy's wife Lola E. Elvy died in 1924 in Lewiston, Nez Perce county and they had 6 young children. I have been unable to locate 2 of their children, Frank and Julia Geraldine (she may also have gone by the name of Judy) in the 1930 Census. Two of the children were listed with Mr. Elvy in Lewiston, and two with their Maternal grandparents in Eaton, Washington, ID in 1930. His obituary stated he had furnished the Children's Home Christmas tree for many years. If anyone has any information on this family, I would appreciate hearing from you.
