Bennie Forbush, 64, died Jan. 24, 2008, of cancer.

He was born August 2, 1943, in Rexburg, Idaho, to Elmer and Blanche Forbush. He grew up in Salem.

He married Sharon Nielsen; they divorced. He drove trucks and heavy equipment, and he was owner of the Busy Bee Saw Mill and Lumber in Ashton for 10 years.

Bennie was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in various callings, including executive secretary, Elders Quorum secretary, Sunday school president, High Priest group leadership and home teacher. Family togetherness with immediate and extended family was important to Bennie; he will be missed by all, but most chiefly by his children, "kids" and brothers and sisters Survivors include his children, Debbie Miller of Salt Lake City, David (Lori) Forbush of Nibley, Utah, and Jeff (Gayla) Forbush of Salem; siblings, Lavon Clinton, Ellen Singleton, Max, Robert "Bob," Jack, Bill and Harold Forbush; and 14 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by siblings Catherine, Clarence and Don; and parents, Elmer and Blanche Forbush.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 29, at the Ashton LDS Stake Center, 516 North Second St. The family will visit with friends from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 28, at Baxter Funeral Home, 717 Main St. in Ashton, and Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at the church prior to services. Burial will be in Sugar City Cemetery.

I was wondering if anyone could help me. I am looking for more information on Frank and Nellie Harris. They are listed in the 1900 census as living in Rexburg. He was a Piano tuner and she was a music teacher. They had three children: Norma, Nellie and Frank H.

They were originally from Logan, Utah I know that Frank returned returned there sometime in 1901 as his son died and was buried there. He then married Rosa Hughes there in 1904. However, I have no further information on Nellie Harris - whether she died or got divorced. Her maiden name was Jones and she was my great-grandfather's cousin.

Norma Harris passed away in 1980, although I do not know where.

friend, Tina, have been helping BARBARA ANN
CHAPMAN(born 11/26/1952 in Rexburg Idaho) locate her
birth family, we just found out tonight, who they
were, BEVERLY JOYCE (BAUER)BISHOP and EDDIE DEWAYNE
BISHOP, and now we need help locating any living
relatives, as we've discovered that they've both
passed away, along with a sister, BARBARA just
discovered, TONYA LEIGH BISHOP. BARBARA was raised an
only child with her adoptive parents, and they too,
have passed on, so it really would be wonderful if we
can find someone.
This is what I know about her birth parents, BEVERLY,
born 6 May 1931 and died 21 Jan 1996, last residence,

Hi, I am helping Barbara ANN Chapman(adoptive
name)locate her birth mother, and or siblings. She was
born
11/27/1952 in REXBURG,IDAHO, MADISON COUNTY. Her
mother was really young so the doctor helped arrange
the adoption, the Doctor was M.F Rigby MD, she was
born in MADISON MEMORIAL HOSPITAL in REXBURG, her
birth mother was from SUGAR CITY, IDAHO. HOWARD and
DORIS CHAPMAN adopted her and named her BARBARA ANN
CHAPMAN. She believes the birth mother met her
adoptive parents, because at a funeral (whose?), her
adoptive father, HOWARD saw the birth mother and
recognized her, so for him to know who she was, they
must have at least met before. We're hoping someone
here can help her, as both adoptive parents are
deceased, and she was raised an only child. BARBARA
found out she was adopted when her adoptive father
told her on his death bed. I believe she was 45yrs.
old at the time, she has been searching ever since,
and hopefully someone can give us some answers or
clues. I will also post this msg. on boards that I
have mentioned in this letter.

I'm seeking more information on Charles Sherman Smith, buried in Ogden, Utah. Born 1/12/1891 in Kearney,NE and died 5/26/1978 in Rexburg, ID. Father listed in cemetery records as Sherman (Silver or Sylvor) Smith and mother as Mattie Fredonia Ewing.

Buried nearby is Edwin Ewing Smith. Same parents, born 11/25/92 in Nebraska and died 8/10/1974 in Salt Lake City.

He was the supertentant, working for Morrison Knuden on the graveyard shift of the Teton Dam Construction. He would like to tell a story about what he knows. That he says would make you all cry.

Yellowstone Park's own "Ranger Ted" finally "graduated" from "The School of Life" on December 5, 2004 at the age of 87.He was the first-born of 11 children of Sedley W. and Kate Squires Parkinson on Feb. 19, 1917 in Plano, ID. He married Maybelle Chapman who died in 1982. He later married Merridy Ayer who was with him until the end. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the China-Burma-India theater. He graduated from Ricks College and Brigham Young University. He shared his philosophy of life with thousands of people over a period of more than 40 years on his nature walks and talks in Yellowstone Park, in schools, and at many "Bahai" gatherings (the religion he embraced later in his life). He is survived by his wife, brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews. Service to be held at the Larkin Sunset Lawn Mortuary at 2350 East 1300 South in Salt Lake City at 10:30 a.m. on December 11. Graveside services will follow at 12:30 p.m. at Mount Olivet Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, charitable donations may be made in Ted's honor to the American Red Cross or to Nature Conservancy.

I am seeking information on the following: descendents of Katie Elizabeth Klein, born Jan 6, 1895 in Gnadendorf, Russia, died September 29, 1979 in Rexburg, Idaho. She is buried in Wilford Cemetary. I'm not sure if this family is related to me or not, but I believe this family may be some
cousins. Other Klein family members were Harvey, Elmer, Harry, Alfred, Edward, John, and Ruby. These names were listed under a picture in a family photo album, dated 10/2/49. They owned a farm near St. Anthony. My father's family resided in the Sugar City area around 1914. My father's family were Millers: Jacob(H), Anna Hetze(W), sons Jacob, John, and Henry; daughters Katie, Lizzie,
Marie, and Molly. I have a copy of my grandparents natualization paper dated December 21st, 1914. Dad's family later moved to Nampa, where they lived on what was known as the dry farms. I also have a picture dated July, 1967, of Mrs. John Klein, who is identified as my dad's cousin on the
back of the picture. I believe this is a picture of Katie. If anyone can provide information on the Klein family, I would appreciate it. Thanks.

I would like to share information with anyone working on the WALDRAM line. It seems all that spell it with the ending of "ram" in this country, are related. Immigrant ancestor was Lorenzo WALDRAM b 1825 England, m Mary Maria BUTLER. They both are buried in North Ogden, UT, as are many other members of the family. Son, Orson WALDRAM b 1858 England, died in Salt Lake City, but is buried in Rexburg, ID, as is his wife Sarah Jane DUDMAN. They lived in Rexburg, he had businesses there, and some of their chidren were born in Fremont Co, ID, probably in that part that later became Madison Co, ID.
