The 1880 Lehmi County census records for Bonanza show my great grandfather, MARK E. BRAY (27) (born N.Y. parents unknown)working as a miner and married to OLIVE V. PYEATT (25) (born Ill. father Ohio, mother Ill.) . I'd like to learn more about either of these families.

In the same census records a HENRY BRAY (21) (born in N.Y. parents Ireland ( married to MARGARET (22) .( Born in New York - parents Ireland) is also mentioned and he may be related to MARK E

OLIVE V. may be related to the Thomas Pyeatt family of Lehmi county. I'd like to know for sure about this. I have a letter from my great grandfather (1887) to my grandfather where he tells him that he is off to the Klondike and if WILL PAYETTE ( notice the spelling difference) should send for him he should go to him to go to school, be a good boy etc. A man named "LEW" is also mentioned in the letter. Apparently ther is no relation to the PAYETTES of this spelling and this was always a source of confusion for the OLIVE V.

Any help would be greatly appreciated
