I am going to Latah County in about 3 weeks and will have only about 1 day to spend trying to get pictures and documentation on my ancestors. I will be there on a Monday or Tuesday. My ancestors were mostly in Troy and Genesee, and I am specifically interested in 1880 - 1920. For instance, my grandmother's sisters died as teenagers in an epidemic in the winter on 1894-95. How can I find out about what kind of epidemic it was and where they may have been buried? Find A Grave is no use...they are not listed. They lived amongst the Scandinavian community and were Lutherans. Also, my G-grandfather wrote many articles for a Norwegian newspaper encouraging people from Norway to emigrate to that area. Any way of finding out more of those or copies? Where should I go other than cemeteries? Any information would be appreciated since I am a novice.
