I also have Sarah L. Freeze as the wife of James Wilburn (Wilbur) Watkins,abt 1850, GA., and they are my GGrandparents. I was told she was called Vina and I have seen her middle name as L. and Melvina. I suspect the L could have been for Lipe. If I am not mistaken, Joseph Francis Watkins was my Dad's Uncle Bud and is buried in the Lutie Cemetery in SE OKlahoma. Most of the Wilbur/ Sarah Freeze Watkins children lived around the Nashoba, Pushmataha County, OKlahoma. DO you have any dates for Wilbur Watkins? I have an uncle and two aunts still alive that are his grandcildren and they can't tell me much about him.
