Services for John William
Cramer, 79,
Emmett, who died Wednesday in an
Emmett hospital, were conducted Friday in
Beatty Chapel by the Rev. Robert
Jackson of the Church of the Nazarene. Interment followed at
Emmett.
Mr. Cramer was born Oct. 3, 1889, at Long Valley,
Valley County,
Idaho, to William and Ruth Janie
Cramer. He later moved with is parents to
Gross.
In 1914 he married
Winnie Edith
Davis. He was a mail carrier at
Ola and forest ranger for the
Payette National Forest. He moved to
Emmett in 1925 where he was employed by the
Bureau of Reclamation. In 1942 he moved to
Hawaii. In 1945 he moved to Gillcrest,
Ore., where he was employed in the lumber industry until he retired in 1953 and returned to
Emmett the next year.
He married Mae Anna
Erickson on Dec. 9, 1943, at
Boise.
Survivors in addition to his wife are a son, John W. Cramer, Molaala, Ore.; two daughters, Mrs. Viola Curtis, Seattle, Mrs. Violet R. Einecker, Bend, Ore.; two step-sons, Howard
Erickson,
Emmett, and Edward
Erickson, Boise; two step-daughters, Pearl Kesgard, Seattle, and Doris
Burke,
Renton, Wash.; 24 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Two sons preceded him in death.
