John R. Taylor abandoned his family abt. 1905 before Albert was born and went to Gem Co., Idaho.

The1920 Gem Co., Idaho Census has a John Taylor and a Mary Taylor with four children Pearl 9, Richard 6, Clifford 3 ½ and Dorothy 2 ½.

The1930 Gem Co., Idaho Census has a John Taylor and a Mollie Taylor with three children Richard 16, Clifford 14 and Dorothy 12.

I’d like to know if this is the same John R. Taylor and when did he die.
Is his Wife Mary or Mollie and what was her maiden name or did they even marry?

I suspect it is because his Brother, Robert Winefield Taylor and family is living near by and their Father, James Sion Taylor is living with him.
