Was there a newspaper that was published in the 1920s called the St. Anthony Chronicle? Is there a library that might have microfilm copies of this old paper? It does not show on the catalog of the FH library in SLC so thought that some local library might have films if any exists. Would appreciate any suggestions or leads.....I've hit a brick wall.

Any information on Claude E Larson born 12 Apr 1889 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada would be much appreciated. I would love to know his parents' names!

He lived with another family in the Fremont County 1920 Census.

He was married to Afton C Briggs (daughter of James Lorenzo and Mary Jane NAYLOR Briggs) in Rexburg in 1922.

He lived with his wife and 2 children in the Fremont County 1930 Census. His daughter is still living; I don't know about his son, or if he has other children.

I need the death certificate of John McArthur for a family history class I am taking. He was my 2nd g.grandfather. John died in Fremont County (Willard?)on 29 or 30 August 1913. It is very expensive to order the death certificate on-line, and it is available on FHL US/CAN Film 1513542. It takes months, however, to order film from SLC. Does anyone have access to this film? Any help appreciated.

I would like to find out more about Sarah CHANTRY b 04 Jan 1826 in Mansfield, NTT, ENG, Married John RAWSON 08 Apr 1844 in Mansfield Woodhouse, NTT, ENG . I think she had at least two sons Harry b.1867 and George b. abt 1845? but it is unclear because some of the Parish registers here are damaged for that time period.

Sarah is my 1st cousin 4 times removed as I am directly descended from one of her uncles. I would love to know the story of how she came to cross the Atlantic. The Chantrys are quite rare (regardless of how the name is spelt) and I can only find Sarah and a cousin of hers, Sarah Holmes from NTT, ENG, along with David & Elizabeth (Reid) of LIN, ENG, who emigrated to the USA. And at the moment there appears to be no clear link between the families in the Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire...but I am slowly working on it.

In the meantime it would be good to make some links with Sarah's descendents.

Seeking info from obituary, census, city directory, etc. that may shed light on the life of my g-g-grandma Martha (Bell) Embree who lived for a short time with a daughter Mrs. Luella "Lulu" Martha (Embree) Leffler in St Anthony.

I only know of Aunt Lulu's married name via the obit below. Any info from varied documents is appreciated.

Her last Union Widow's Pension payment was for $30/month in May 1922.
Transcript of obituary: Pueblo (Colorado) Chieftain (June __, 1922); "The body of Mrs. Martha Anna (nee Bell) Embree arrived here Thursday afternoon from St. Anthony, Idaho accompanied by her daughter Mrs. (Luella Martha) Leffler. My great-great-grandfather John Harshbarger died at Ashton, Fremont County, Idaho on Sept. 5, 1909 and was buried in Marysville Cemetery on Sept. 6, 1909. I do not find Marysville Cemetery included in the cemetery listings on the Fremont Co. page. Does anyone know where it is? John emigrated to Fremont Co. from Lincoln Co., Kansas after 1891 and lived with his son Henry Clay Harshbarger. Any info would be appreciated.

I would like to share information with anyone working on the WALDRAM line. It seems all that spell it with the ending of "ram" in this country, are related. Immigrant ancestor was Lorenzo WALDRAM b 1825 England, m Mary Maria BUTLER. They both are buried in North Ogden, UT, as are many other members of the family. Son, Orson WALDRAM b 1858 England, died in Salt Lake City, but is buried in Rexburg, ID, as is his wife Sarah Jane DUDMAN. They lived in Rexburg, he had businesses there, and some of their chidren were born in Fremont Co, ID, probably in that part that later became Madison Co, ID.

In Julia Brislane McGrath's obituary in the Fargo, ND paper, May 21, 1930, it states that she had a daughter, Mrs. Frank Miller in Drummond, Fremont Co. Idaho. Julia also lived in the "west" according to the obit for 40 years.
A sister, Alice Brislane, was married to John McGrath and we believe the John McGrath family was also in Idaho.

It lists his next of kin as Mrs. James Murphy (I believe this is his second wife, his first wife dies in 1916 in Spokane). He is born in Kentucky in 1880 - if anyone has him or knows the name of this second wife, I would LOVE to hear from you!

I am looking for information on two people: (1)Harriet O'Harnett Bryson (nee Giles or Reynolds). Born 1851, Wales. Died Jan. 9, 1928. She married Charles Henry O'Harnett in June, 1878 at Ogden, UT, I believe. Harriet had a daughter, (2)Ida Marie Bigelow (probably her married name), who may have lived for some period of time on Dolores Street in St. Anthony, ID. I'd like to know if Harriet had Ida Marie with Charles or with another husband. Harriet was remarried after Charles' 1919 death to William Harry Bryson. But that marriage, which ended in divorce in 1924, would have been too late in her life to produce children. If Ida Marie was the child of Harriet and Charles O'Harnett, does she have any living descendants? Any information at all is very much appreciated.

I am looking for information on JOSEPH ENOCH THOMPSON son of JAMES LEWIS THOMPSON. Joseph and wife Phoebe came to St Anthony around 1895 with his widowed mother Matilda Willis Thompson. They were in Fremont county and in Woodville Idaho for many years.
Josehp Enoch ran the Central Hotel in St Anthony and son Joseph Grant ran the Center Grocery in StAnthony.
I have a photo of the store taken about 1910.

I am seeking information on the following: descendents of Katie Elizabeth Klein, born Jan 6, 1895 in Gnadendorf, Russia, died September 29, 1979 in Rexburg, Idaho. She is buried in Wilford Cemetary. I'm not sure if this family is related to me or not, but I believe this family may be some
cousins. Other Klein family members were Harvey, Elmer, Harry, Alfred, Edward, John, and Ruby. These names were listed under a picture in a family photo album, dated 10/2/49. They owned a farm near St. Anthony. My father's family resided in the Sugar City area around 1914. My father's family were Millers: Jacob(H), Anna Hetze(W), sons Jacob, John, and Henry; daughters Katie, Lizzie,
Marie, and Molly. I have a copy of my grandparents natualization paper dated December 21st, 1914. Dad's family later moved to Nampa, where they lived on what was known as the dry farms. I also have a picture dated July, 1967, of Mrs. John Klein, who is identified as my dad's cousin on the
back of the picture. I believe this is a picture of Katie. If anyone can provide information on the Klein family, I would appreciate it. Thanks.
