David
Cyrus Page, 79 beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, June 24, 2009 at the home of his daughter with family around him. David was born on September 14, 1929 in
Preston, Idaho to John
Cyrus and Nellie Marie
Edmiston Page. He grew up in
Preston and
Ogden Utah. He served in the
Army in World War II. He later married Maxine
Snapp on July 28, 1949 in
Ogden,
Utah. They were sealed in the Salt Lake City
Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on August 12, 1959. He served faithfully in many callings in the Church including seminary teacher, sunday school teacher, stake missionary (Seventy) and
Bishop. He was preceded in death by his beloved Maxine and one great -granddaughter,
Alexis Page. He is survived by three brothers, Jay(Norene),
Wally (Mary Fae) and Ray (Hazene) Page, five children, Ginny(Larry)
Taylor, of
Payson, UT.; David W. of
Bozeman, MT.; Kevin (Pam) Page, of
Kamas, UT. Kelli Dawn of Taylorsville, UT.; and
Matt (Jill) of
Taylor, UT. 18 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 29, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. At the
Oak Hill
Chapel, 895 W. 4800 S. in Taylorsville, UT. Friends and family may call on Sunday evening from 6:00 p.m. Until 7:30 p.m. And on Monday from 9:45 a.m. Until 10:45 a.m. Interment will follow at the Taylorsville Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of
