To locate the memorial marker placed in 1923 near the site. The Rehoboth Church which currently exists on County Rd #4 was founded in 1867. Howver, there was an earlier Rehoboth founded in 1819 by Lee Compere at Ware. The earlier church, the object of my research, was one of four churches comprising the Alabama Baptist Association founded in December of 1819
