Lattimer, 69,
Burley, died Thursday at the Cassia Memorial Hospital of a lingering illness.
He was born Oct. 27, 1901 at Burr
Oak, Kan.; the son of William and Eunice
Jones Lattimer. He married Dorothy Muriel
Jones on Sept. 23, 1932 at Thermopolis, Wyo. He was previously married to
Vida U. Nation, who died in June 1931.
Mr. Lattimer was a mechanic, and a member of the
Baptist Church. He came to
Burley from
Lander, Wyo., on Jan. 31, 1941. He first worked for
Chisholm Brothers in
Burley, then was a shop foreman for
Burley Implement for Charles McDonald, and later for
Bunting Tractor, and before retiring he had a shop at his home.
Surviving are his widow of Burley; a son,
Dick Lattimer,
Fountain Valley, Calif.; three daughters, Mrs. Claribel Mulchay,
Boise, Mrs. Bernice Young,
Washington, and Mrs. Alberta Anderson, Burley; a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Marion
Lattimer, Boise; 12 grandchildren and one great grandchild; two brothers, Floyd C. Lattimer, and
Lew H. Lattimer, both of Burley; and a sister, Mrs. Ethel McMains, Lebanon, Ore.
He was preceded in death by a son, Claude J. Lattimer, a daughter, Ethel Joyce
Lattimer, and five brothers and three sisters.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the
McCullough Funeral Home
Chapel, with Rev. Willis
Blair officiating. Interment will be in the
Pleasant View Cemetery.
